2022 Champion

After a busy year on and off track, September saw Max’s season come to a close. He has had some very close battles all year and it hasn’t always gone his way, which has been character building for the 11 year old.

The end of the BKC Championship he found himself battling with the same driver that fought him hard for the 2021 Iame Cadet Championship last year. Going in to the last round, Max knew he just needed to stay out of trouble and not worry about being first on track, as long as he finished in the top 4. He drove with a mature head all weekend and despite being quick enough to win the races, he kept his head and bought home the championship in style. His first championship in a big kart, his second national title in a row and the first driver to win back to back BKC titles.
