Max Wins at Superone Rd 1
This photo is the result of 5 years of blood sweat and tears. This weekend sees the first two rounds of the @superoneseries British Minirok Championship.

Max was fast in testing but was overdriving a little costing him some time. In the morning warmup he was quick. Confidence was high going in to qualifying and the result was P2, which he was overjoyed with.
Heat one and starting from the front row, didn’t go so well. There was a little bit of contact and Max lost his head. He finished P6 which was still a good start. Heat 2 went a little better, but wasn’t quite as on it as he was in quali and was running in 5th before two drivers in front came together to gave Max P3. These results gave us a front row start for the final in P2, alongside teammate @joshturnbullracing
The start was great and he settled in to 2nd right behind Josh. After a couple of laps he made a move to take the lead, which was a lead that seemed to change so many times. Coming on to last lap it was still a three horse race, with Max in the lead. He kept his head this time and came across the line to take his first final win. To win in a national series, after so much hard work from Dad and the team Albone Racing Development was very emotional for all of us. Max was smiling and Dad and Billy both cried.
